ASD (Alarm Sound Detection)
Industry's first ASD (Alarm Sound Detector) Smart System ™ is the state of the art security system that can detect the tag alarm sound. The conventional AM/RF antennas are affected by the electro_magnetic noise from the environment and sometimes those antennas emit the false alarm. ASD (Alarm Sound Detection) unit detects only the tag alarm sound and is very stable against the electro_magnetic noise from the environment. Combining ASD unit which detects the tag alarm sound precisely and verious Smart antennas, invisible/ low profile ASD anti–shopping security system can be applied to every stores.
Overhead ASD
Overhead ASD suits for the application to wide entrance. There are 2 types of ASD antennas; Overhead antenna (TX+ASD) function/ Model[SMT–OHANT–TX–ASD] and Overhead antenna (ASD) function/ Model[SMT–OHANT–ASD].

Wall ASD

Antenna type
Overhead antenna
An overhead hanging antenna can be installed from the entrance ceiling.
The antenna is installed at about 3 meters above the entrance floor, so it does not detract from the aesthetic appearance of the entrance and does not disturb the passage of customers.
One overhead antenna covers a 3m area. More than one overhead antenna can secure a wider entrance.

In-ceiling antenna
A wide area can be secured by an electromagnetic field from the antenna in the store ceiling.
This antenna is basically invisible, so the security system keeps the aesthetically pleasing appearance of the store entrance and does not cause guests any feelings of apprehension upon entering the store.
The self-alarming tag sounds an alarm only when tag receives a signal from the antenna. Combining a stand-alone ASD unit, a double alarm system (tag alarm and ASD alarm) is possible.

Underground antenna
This antenna is installed under the floor and transmits a radio signal.
The antenna is invisible, so it preserves the aesthetically pleasing appearance of the store entrance and helps to maintain the store brand image.
Installation is possible in new as well as existing stores.
This antenna can accommodate an entrance up to 10m, so this system may cost less than installing multiple overhead antennas or over-the-ceiling antennas.

Wall antenna
This antenna is based on a compact and lightweight design and can be installed very easily to the wall or furniture.
In addition when the store decides to change their layout, relocation work of this antenna is easy.
This antenna is designed to suit to narrow area security and is recommended for small stores as well as passages and blind spots in large stores.
There are 2 types of antennas; 1) antenna signal transmission function (TX) and 2) Alarm Sound Detection (ASD) function.
